Archaeological discovery today 12/02/2015
Ceramic seal of King Hezekiah, the son of Ahaz and the 13 king of Judah was found today in the Temple Mount sift project.
On the seal appear an ancient inscription
“לחזקיהו (בן) אחז מל יהודה” “to Hezekiah (son) Ahaz King of Judah “
According to the chief Archeologist Ayelet Mazar this is the first archeological discovery of a seal from the king of Israel or Judah were found in an archeological dig of the Hebrew university.
King Hezekiah rull 727-698BC was mentioned in the bible Kings B , Isaiah, Books of Chronicles.
